I am openly professing my love affair with the Eames molded plastic chair. Designed in 1948 by Charles and Ray Eames, the husband and wife team who turned out innumerable contributions to the rich American history of design. The Eames chair was one of the first products to be mass-produced for the general public. The chair was ingeniously crafted with comfort, style, and cost in mind. Offered in an array of colors, its clean, simple lines go well with just about any interior. Here is a round-up of my favorite rooms incorporating and celebrating the Eames molded plastic chair.
Enjoy!

I have been wanting one of these chairs in red, for a long time. But actually never knew the name of this particular style or the history. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is so versatile. I have to say I love the white on white on white example the best.
